About Metaweaves
METAWEAVES has been woven over more than two decades of observing the shifts of the corporate world, paying attention to what is often unseen, unspoken, avoided, or out of balance. Our work grew from both responsibility and purpose: to bring systems thinking and systems intelligence into leadership, organisational development, executive advisory, facilitation, training and education, coaching, and reflective supervision, especially where conventional approaches do not fully explain what is happening.
Like glasses that help people navigate with clearer sight, METAWEAVES offers an additional lens on organisational reality, one where macro-, meso-, and micro-systems coexist and interweave to shape outcomes. Through facilitated workshops and offsites, tailored learning programmes (in-person and online), as well as conferences, talks, and publications, we support leaders and organisations to build inclusive and balanced systems that deliver sustained performance, resilience, and adaptability, creating value for organisations and the wider ecosystems they affect.

Jordi Escartin, PhD
Understanding systems, serving the whole
Jordi Escartín, PhD, is a systemic coach, consultant, and facilitator whose work focuses on helping organisations understand and navigate the complex dynamics that shape leadership, culture, and change. Drawing on systemic thinking and constructivist psychology, he works with leaders and organisations to reveal the hidden patterns, assumptions, and relationships that influence how systems behave and evolve.
Early in his career, he worked with public institutions and organisations facing complex workplace challenges. In Costa Rica, his collaboration with trade unions and labour institutions contributed to the 2008 approval of the first directive by the national Labour Inspection system establishing procedures to address workplace harassment complaints. Around the same time, he helped the Ajuntament de Santa Coloma de Gramenet (Barcelona) design the municipality’s first protocol for preventing and managing workplace harassment, later recognised in 2013 by Spain’s National
Institute of Public Administration (INAP) as a best practice in public human resource management.
Alongside his professional work, Jordi participated in international volunteer initiatives in Nepal, India, Japan, Botswana, and Tanzania. Time spent in Tibet strengthened his systemic perspective on how history, culture, power, and human meaning weave together within living systems. His reflections later contributed to the solidarity book Tíbet en el corazón (2011).
In 2016, he designed and launched the two-year International Master Programme in Coaching and Personal Leadership at the University of Barcelona, the first coaching programme from a public university accredited by the International Coaching Federation (ICF). He later expanded the master to Latin America (Chile, Colombia, and Panama), helping build a global learning community that has trained more than 1,000 coaches worldwide.
